1. How does this standard relate to the standard?
Write expressions that record operations with numbers and with letters standing for numbers. Identify parts of an expression using mathematical terms (sum, term, product, factor, quotient, coefficient); view one or more parts of an expression as a single entity. Evaluate expressions at specific values of their variables. Include expressions that arise from formulas used in real-world problems. Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order. Apply the properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions. For example, apply the distributive property to the expression 3 (2 + x) to produce the equivalent expression 6 + 3x; apply the distributive property to the expression 24x + 18y to produce the equivalent expression 6 (4x + 3y); apply properties of operations to y + y + y to produce the equivalent expression 3y.
This relates to the standard by having all the properties, exponents, and expression that I learned.
2. What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
The steps that I took to complete and do well on this assignment is to take out the notes I took in class and review. Remember the methed that the teacher taught me. Ask friend, family, or cousin to test you to test yourself if I'm ready for it. I still practice everyday just to keep up with the memory, maybe I could forget about it.

This assignment demonstrates the listening and memory skill because we need to remember what we learned to take this test. Also need to know what I have learned and put that memory in the front of my head and start solving.

I could have improved my work on this assignment by doing this assignment step by step. Double.. triple check!!!!
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from the assignment in either the real world when your an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will use it when i'm an adult like if I'm a teacher,science, counting, cards, studying,thinking, and when I try to share things equally. I want to use this alot as I could because it is such a precious resource to me. It's used everywhere like when the workers construct things they use math to think how they will build it, also the book they use multiplications to count the page, or the money.
